lets take the IDOC scenario's..

we use this logical system name in the ALE/IDOC configuration. which is maintained in the SLD of business system. the same will reflect in ID adapter specific identifiers..

Suppose say if we maintained the logical system name as PS1CLNT300 for DEV and quality systems.

How the system call will recognize the other systems?

The logical system name should be defined in standard [ system ID --> CLNT --> client number ]

i 've never faced this case..

i've checked in all the business systems, the client is pointed to 300 only..

run the SLDCHECK.. facing the same issue..
